About Us

Ryan started King Lawns LLC in college to originally help pay for college tuition. His father had a landscaping company in the 90’s and always said his biggest regret was giving it up. Naturally landscaping and lawn maintenance was something Ryan grew to love after watching his father do it growing up. In 2009 Ryan decided to start his company King Lawns LLC and the rest was history!

In the early days it was great having people so willing to help support college kids making money to get through school. The business naturally started with a few other friends, also in college, who later went onto their careers.

Like all companies it was years before King Lawns posted a profit. As a result Ryan worked evenings at a second job full time for the first seven years to help his business get by. In 2017 Ryan decided to pursue the business full time to see how much it could grow.

It has been truly amazing watching how much King Lawns has grown. Not only has Ryan been able to better his life and find a career he loves, but he has also been able to provide careers and jobs to over 10 employees.

Ryan has been with King Lawns since the beginning in 2009 and is in charge of overseeing all crews, giving estimates, and running the concrete/heavy equipment side of the company.

Jake has been with King Lawns for over five years leading our heavy equipment operation and landscaping projects. He oversees the excavating, grading, and concrete demolition.
